Narcotics Task Force seize $1,600 worth of narcotics

Investigators found 23.1 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and U.S. currency during the search.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force seized $1,600 worth of narcotics while serving a search warrant in the 6400 block of Logan Avenue on Monday.

LPD says the task force served the search warrant as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Investigators found 23.1 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and U.S. currency during the search.

Officers arrested 54-year-old Darren Cink and 32-year-old Maureen Deinert, both inside the residence.

LPD arrested Cink for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of money while violating a drug law.

LPD arrested Deinert for possession of a controlled substance.
