Near normal temperatures, a few storm chances
Scattered showers and storms will be possible throughout the week with the best chance coming late Tuesday into early Wednesday. Temperatures will be near normal through the week, as well, but some cooler air moves in by the weekend.
The average high for the first of August is 89 degrees and that’s about where we’ll end up Tuesday afternoon.
Along with the warm temperatures, the dewpoint will be fairly high, too.
With the added humidity and the warm temperatures, the heat index will be in the 90s. That’s still better than we were last week!
Precipitation chances are small during the day on Tuesday, but a few sprinkles will be possible in the afternoon.
There will be a better chance for storms late Tuesday into early Wednesday morning.
