LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska basketball’s Oleg Kojenets has entered the transfer portal, a university spokesman confirmed Tuesday.

Kojenets, a redshirt freshman, spent two seasons with the Huskers.  He spent the entirety of his first year on the scout team.

In his second and final season with the Huskers, the 7-foot forward played in 18 games, averaging about 3.4 minutes per game.

The Lithuania native is the first Husker to enter the transfer portal this offseason.

Nebraska missed out on an invitation to the NIT after losing to Minnesota in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
