Nebraska football releases 2023 schedule

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska football released its 2023 schedule on Wednesday.

The Huskers will travel to Minneapolis to open up their season against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Aug. 31.

Nebraska’s non-conference slate includes a matchup with Colorado, along with games against Northern Illinois and Louisiana Tech.

The rest of the Huskers’ Big Ten schedule will see the team face Michigan, Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, Michigan State, Maryland, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Nebraska’s 2023 schedule:

  • Northern Illinois – Sept. 16, 2023
  • Louisiana Tech – Sept. 23, 2023
  • Michigan – Sept. 30, 2023

  • Bye week – Oct. 14, 2023
  • Northwestern – Oct. 21, 2023
  • Purdue – Oct. 28, 2023
  • At Michigan State – November 4, 2023
  • Maryland – November 11, 2023
  • At Wisconsin – November 18, 2023
  • Iowa – November 24, 2023

Nebraska currently sits with a 3-4 record before facing Illinois at home on Saturday.

The Huskers’ matchup against the Fighting Illini will be broadcast on Channel 8 at 2:30 p.m.
