Nebraska matches its best start to a season since 1977-78 in beatdown of the Badgers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The No. 23-ranked Nebraska basketball team took down Wisconsin 90-60 Wednesday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

With the win, the Huskers remain undefeated at 10-0 while also tying a program record for the best start to a season since 1977-78.
Nebraska had five players in double-figures in scoring tonight, led by Rienk Mast, who finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Lincoln native Braden Frager dropped 15 points and hit a team-high three threes.

Nebraska continues to own the nation’s longest win streak at 14 games.
The Huskers start Big Ten play 1-0 and now turn their attention to No. 13 Illinois on Saturday in Champaign.
