Nebraska state baseball second round scores

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln East is looking to make a run in the state baseball tournament in Omaha.

East is the only Lincoln school to make an appearance in the Class A tournament.

The Spartans defeated Bellevue West 2-1 on Friday, then beat Elkhorn South on Monday night.

Three local teams – Beatrice, Norris and Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran – played in the Class B tournament on Monday.

Malcolm, which is ranked No. 1 in the Class C tournament, will be facing Platteview on Monday.
