Nebraska State Fair moves two concerts indoors

Fair officials say the potential for heavy rain and adverse weather conditions are the reason for moving the concerts indoors.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska State Fair officials are moving two upcoming concerts indoors. Kevin Costner and Modern West, originally scheduled on the Bristol Stage at the Anderson Auto Sports Field, will be moved to the Bristol Stage in the Heartland Event Center.

$31 pit tickets will now include the option of 1000 seats in addition to standing on the arena floor. General admission tickets for seating in the arena bowl seats are $21. The concert will still start at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 2.

The Christian band concert, We are Messengers, will also be moved to the Heartland Event Center. This concert is still scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on September 1. If you purchase a fair gate ticket, you can get a free general admission ticket to this concert.
