Nebraska volleyball defeats Brazil U21 national team

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska volleyball team defeated the Brazil U21 national team 4-1 on Tuesday night.

The Huskers won the first three sets 25-21, 25-18, 25-20 and then changed lineups.

Nebraska won the fourth 27-25 and Brazil took the fifth 16-14.

Freshman Harper Murray led the way with 13 kills, four aces and a pair of blocks.

Florida transfer Merritt Beason had 12 kills and one ace.

Sophomore Bekka Allick added nine kills with two blocks, and fellow middle blocker Andi Jackson had seven kills with three blocks.

Ally Batenhorst added eight kills with a pair of aces.
