Nebraska volleyball to play spring match in Kearney

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska volleyball team’s spring match date, location and opponent are all set.

The Huskers will take on Denver at Kearney High School on May 4 at 2 p.m.

Doors will open for the match at 12:30 p.m.

The team will sign autographs after the match.

Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, April 2 at 10 a.m. in person only at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. They will be $12 for general admission and $32 for courtside seating.

The Nebraska volleyball team will face Denver in its 2024 spring match at Kearney High School on Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m. Doors to the match will open at 12:30 p.m. The Huskers will sign autographs following the match.

UNL said there will be no ticket replacement for lost tickets and you must pay with cash only. No tickets will be sold through the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office.

The Huskers played their spring match at Kearney High School also in 2017.  The trip back to Kearney continues Nebraska’s tradition of touring the state for spring volleyball matches.

Since 2007, Nebraska has played spring matches in North Platte, Scottsbluff, Grand Island, Norfolk, Wayne, Ogallala, Kearney and McCook.
