Nebraska volleyball’s season ends in loss to Oregon at NCAA Regional 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball’s season came to an end Thursday with a loss to Oregon in a tight match in the regional round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.

The Ducks beat the Huskers in five sets 14-25, 26-24, 22-25, 32-30, 15-11 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville.

The loss snapped the Huskers’ streak of reaching the regional finals at 10, while the Ducks take on the Louisville-Baylor winner on Saturday.

Lindsay Krause had a team-high 16 kills, Ally Batenhorst added 15 and 12 digs while Whitney Lauenstein posted 12.

Lexi Rodriguez led the team in digs, with 18.

The Ducks’ MiMi Colyer had an impressive day, with 26 kills on .254 hitting.

The Huskers finish the season with a 26-6 record and 16-4 in Big Ten play.
