Nebraska women’s basketball advances to next round in WNIT

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska is moving on in the WNIT after a win over Missouri State at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Wednesday.

The Huskers beat Missouri State 74-65.  Nebraska will now go on to face the winner of Northern Iowa and Colorado State.

Sam Haiby led the Huskers’ offensive effort with 25 points.  Isabelle Bourne put up another 16 points and Jaz Shelley had 11 points, including three 3-pointers.

Nebraska shot 46% from the field, while also securing 36 rebounds.
