Nebraska women’s hoops hosting Kansas for final non-conference game

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Huskers will be facing a longtime adversary when Kansas comes to Pinnacle Bank Arena in December.
Nebraska announced Tuesday they would be hosting the Kansas Jayhawks for the regular season non-conference finale on Dec. 21.
This marks the second time the Jayhawks have made a trip to Lincoln since the Huskers left the Big 12 following the 2010-11 season.
The two programs have faced each other a total of 83 times, more than any other opponent in school history.
During their last matchup in 2018, the Huskers defeated Kansas 58-52.
Both teams made appearances in this year’s NCAA Tournament, with the Huskers falling in the first round and the Jayhawks succumbing in the second round.
Dates for the Huskers’ upcoming non-conference games will be announced in the coming days. Conference games have yet to be announced.
Nebraska announced earlier in July the team would face Virginia Tech in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
