FIRTH, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska has added another tight end to its loaded 2021 recruiting class.

James Carnie, a senior tight end out of Norris, announced his commitment to the Huskers on Monday.

Carnie had offers from Kansas State, Iowa and a plethora of others. However, the former Miami (OH) pledge hadn’t received an offer from Nebraska until last week.

Still, the lifelong Husker football fan didn’t hold a grudge with his hometown team growing up less than a 30 minute drive from Memorial Stadium.

Carnie and Norris (6-1) visit Pius X this Friday night. Carnie has caught a touchdown pass in all but one of the Titan’s games this season.
