NSP: 3-vehicle crash outside of Kearney kills Lincoln driver

KEARNEY, Neb. (KLKN) — A person is dead following a three-vehicle crash Thursday near Kearney.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP), the crash happened around 4 pm when a southbound Honda Accord made a U-Turn on Hwy 44, five miles south of Kearney.
It was then that a southbound Chrysler 300 hit the Honda, with a northbound semi/grain hauler striking both vehicles.
The driver of the Honda, 40-year-old Brandi Nigh of Lincoln, was pronounced dead on scene.
No other serious injuries have been reported. The fatal crash remains under investigation.
