NSP: Lincoln man arrested for assaulting minor

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) have taken a Lincoln man into custody in connection to a sexual assault of a minor.

The investigation began when Homeland Security Investigators reached out to NSP concerning a reported sexual assault in 2020. The investigation indicated 62-year-old Everette O’Neal of Lincoln as a suspect.

On Friday, April 16, one trooper pulled O’Neal while he was driving with a revoked license. He was arrested for the 1st-degree sexual assault of a minor.
