Omaha zoo names penguin after Peyton Manning

Omaha has become famous the last couple of weeks, thanks to Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.  Manning constantly yells out “OMAHA” when calling signals.

Now, Omaha has found a way to honor Manning.  A little penguin chick has now been named Peyton.

Peyton and four other rockhopper penguin chicks were born late last month at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium in Omaha.  Zoo workers raised the eggs and kept them in an incubator.

The penguin chicks are still developing their waterproof feathers.
