One more mild day
January starts to come back on Friday, but we should be able to squeeze out one more very mild day in central and eastern Nebraska.
We’ll start the day very mild in Lincoln and eventually top out near 50 degrees. The wind will pick up in the afternoon.
The cold air pours across Nebraska starting in NW Nebraska Friday and then into eastern Nebraska Saturday and Sunday.
With the cold front rolling through, it will try to put a little snow down in western Nebraska. 1-2″ of snow possible in the panhandle.
The cold air lingers into early next week before we start to warm up again.
