One person killed in crash near I-80 in Seward County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Seward County Sheriff’s Office said one person was killed in a crash near Interstate 80 on Monday.
It happened around 3:50 p.m. on 238th Road, just north of I-80 exit 382. That’s the Milford exit.
The sheriff’s office said a 2014 Toyota Sienna failed to yield to oncoming traffic and hit a 2002 Chevy Silverado going south on 238th.
The passenger of the Sienna was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver of the Sienna was taken to a Lincoln hospital but is expected to survive.
The driver of the Silverado was treated and released at the scene.
The identities of those involved have yet to be released.
The Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the crash.
