One man transported to hospital after fight in central Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department says a man was taken to a hospital early Monday morning after a fight in central Lincoln.

LPD said it happened around 2:30 a.m. near 38th and O Streets when they responded to a report of a burglary in progress.

Police said two people were fighting when they arrived at the scene. They knew each other.

A 29-year-old man was taken to a hospital with injuries to his face that were not life-threatening.

LPD said it doesn’t have anyone in custody at this time.
