Over 150 COVID-19 cases reported since Labor Day weekend

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Since Labor Day weekend, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) has reported 158 confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the community total to 4,700. Over 58 percent of these cases are linked to the 18 to 22 age group.

Some of these test results may have been delayed over at least four days due to technical difficulties, and are now being added to today’s totals.

In addition, the 21st death in the county has also been reported. She was a woman in her 50s who was hospitalized.

The community positivity rate has been bumped up from 7.3 percent to 7.4 percent.

So far, this county has had 2,023 COVID-19 recoveries. In total, over 63,300 tests have been administered.
