Over 50 animals rescued by Nebraska Humane Society

The shelter is now requesting donations to support the puppies, birds and more

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Humane Society rescued over 50 animals from a single home in Omaha Tuesday.

The animals included 25+ dogs and puppies, as well as birds, reptiles and small mammals.

On social media the animal shelter posted, “As you may remember, NHS confiscated over 600 animals from a local home in December. There is still a lot of work to do on that case, but when we received an anonymous tip about even more animals in need, we couldn’t say no.”

All of the pets they took received food, water, and shelter.  NHS is asking for any donations so they can afford to continue to support these animals in this emergency.  To donate, visit this website.
