Overnight storms, then a little cooler
Strong to severe storms are possible Monday night into very early Tuesday for much of the state. Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential Monday night into early Tuesday.
After the early morning storm chance in Lincoln, we’ll see the clouds clear up and the heat comes back.
Most of us will get very close to 90 degrees Tuesday afternoon.
Unfortunately, the dew point will remain very high.
So the heat index will remain very high, as well.
On the plus side, a taste of fall is in the forecast. And so is the first Huskers game! GBR!
