Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in east Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A pedestrian was seriously injured Tuesday night after a hit-and-run crash in east Lincoln, police say.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. at North Cotner Boulevard and Garland Street.

Police said a pickup truck was heading south when it hit a 38-year-old Lincoln man crossing the street.

He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.  Police said he remains in critical but stable condition.

The truck involved is described as a “larger 4-door pickup, either grey, silver, dark grey or black,” according to police.
