Person injured in two-vehicle crash in northeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A person was hospitalized Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in northeast Lincoln.

Police said the crash happened around 7:15 a.m. at 66th Street and Havelock Avenue.

A car was turning left onto Havelock when it crashed with an eastbound pickup truck, according to police.

The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

One lane of Havelock Avenue was shut down as crews cleaned up the debris.
