PHOTOS: Nebraska State Patrol honors Trooper McAcy

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol on Thursday honored fallen Trooper Kyle McAcy with a funeral procession and celebration of life.

The procession began at 9 a.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha as McAcy’s body was taken to Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston.

The funeral procession stretched for miles and included several American flags hanging over the road from firetruck ladders.

As the funeral ended, a dispatcher came over the radio and did a “last call” for McAcy.
