Police arrest man after fatal shooting at Omaha business

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting at an Omaha business on Thursday.

Around 7:30 a.m., officers were sent to All My Sons Moving & Storage near 87th and F Streets on a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found the body of 24-year-old Rodney Hart-Owens in the parking lot, Omaha Police said.

After an investigation, officers took 26-year-old Octavian Sanderson into custody.

He was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including first-degree murder, terroristic threats and tampering with evidence.
