62-year-old woman arrested in north Omaha shooting, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were injured late Wednesday night in a shooting in north Omaha, police say.
The shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. at a home near 22nd and Laird Streets.
When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man who had a gunshot wound.
Later on, another victim – a 26-year-old man – showed up at a hospital and said he was wounded in the same shooting, according to police.
Both victims have injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.
After an investigation, officers arrested 62-year-old Deborah McCants on suspicion of first-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of an unregistered firearm.
