Police identify 75-year-old man killed in rollover crash in York

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The York Police Department identified the man who was killed Wednesday in a rollover crash.

Around 7:55 p.m., a vehicle — driven by 75-year-old Darrel Lottes —  exited the Interstate 80 westbound ramp and onto Highway 81.

The vehicle then rolled “multiple times” before ending up in the McDonald’s parking lot, according to police.

Lottes and the passenger, a 71-year-old York woman, were taken to a hospital.  Lottes later died from his injuries.

The extent of the passenger’s injuries is unknown.

An investigation is ongoing.
