Police identify shooter, victim in murder-suicide at central Lincoln apartment

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police on Friday identified the shooter and the victim in a murder-suicide in central Lincoln.

Police said Pah To, 44, shot and killed Bu Gay, 40, on Wednesday before shooting himself at an apartment complex near 22nd and G streets.

The woman’s 13-year-old son, who called 911 to report the shooting, was also shot and underwent surgery.

Two other children were also found in the apartment unharmed, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

Investigators found a gun and multiple shell casings at the scene, Police Chief Michon Morrow said at a press conference earlier this week.

They are working to piece together exactly what led up to the shooting.
