According to authorities, officers were called to the Yankee Hill Country Club (7600 San Mateo Lane) on Saturday around 11:30 a.m. on a burglary. The owner, a 69-year-old man, reported that he found the pump house had been broken into and damaged.

When officers arrived they found the restrooms had been destroyed, the walls were covered in spray paint, and electrical wires were intentionally pulled from the walls, according to LPD.

Police said it appears the entry was gained through a hole in the wall caused by the burglars.

The damage is estimated to be over $10,000.
