Portion of South Cotner Boulevard to close for emergency pipe repairs
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A portion of South Cotner Boulevard is soon to close as the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department makes pipe repairs.
The department said the boulevard will be closed from Sumner to South Streets beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Emergency wastewater pipes will be repaired, and the city expects the project to be completed by Tuesday, Nov. 29.
In the meantime, LTU recommends that travelers make a detour from Cotner to 48th Street to South Street.
Those living in the area will continue to have access to their homes, but the east sidewalk of the boulevard will be closed.
