Precipitation chances and near normal temperatures
So far, 2024 has been relatively quiet, but we’re just a couple days into it so far. Temperatures are expected to be near normal through the weekend until a potential snow chance early next week, then the come crashing down. Before that snow chance, light rain and snow will be possible Friday into the weekend.
Wednesday morning will start with some low clouds and fog in central and eastern Nebraska. The western half of the state will be clear.
Most of us will bottom out very close to 20 degrees early Wednesday. The average low is 15, so a little warmer than average!
We slowly warm up during the day with most of the afternoon in the low to mid 30s.
While it’ll be a little cool, the wind won’t be an issue!
Highs will struggle a bit, but we’ll try for the average high, which is 36 degrees.
There aren’t any overly warm days on the horizon, but there are a few chances for some precipitation.
