Precipitation chances, then it gets cold
We warm up a little for Friday, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Highs will be in the middle and upper 30s, maybe a few low 40s.
In the late morning and early afternoon, we may see a quick system move through with a little light snow and rain possible.
For Valentine’s Day evening, it doesn’t look too bad. Temperatures will be right around the freezing mark with mostly cloudy skies.
There’s a chance for some snow again late Friday into early Saturday. Below is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, location, and duration.
Most of south central and SE Nebraska will see around an inch or two of snow from this. However…
Weather models do have a thin band trying to set up somewhere in SE Nebraska where a little more than 2″ is possible. Something to keep track of!
