Protest in Lincoln covers wide array of issues

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After recent executive orders from President Donald Trump, protests have been breaking out in Lincoln.

On Thursday, about 15 protesters gathered on the corner of 48th and O streets right in front of a Chick-fil-A.

The protest was about a multitude of issues, including Black Lives Matter, women’s reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights and the recent immigrant policies.

As cars passed by, they honked in agreement, with some people even showing their own posters or flags inside their car.

This followed a protest that attracted about 150 people at the Capitol on Wednesday.
