Rain chances and cooler temperatures
There is a decent chance for showers and thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday morning. A quarter to a half inch of rain is possible in many places, a little less in some spots, a little more in others.
After the cold front responsible for our rain chances moves through, we’ll see a much cooler day on Friday. Mostly to partly cloudy skies can be expected with highs about 10 degrees below average. The wind will die down, as well, and be out of the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.
As we head into the holiday weekend, we start to warm back up and have chances for showers and thunderstorms each day.
