Rain chances and remaining cool
There is a chance for some light rain as we head through Thursday night into early Friday morning. It doesn’t look like it’ll amount to much, but light rain is possible along and south of I80.
While the Drought Monitor has improved for much of eastern Nebraska, any rain in western and parts of central Nebraska will be welcome.
It’ll be a little warmer Friday morning, but still a little below average…especially in NW Nebraska.
Highs during the day are remaining cool and Friday is no exception.
After a lingering rain chance in the morning, we’ll warm into the upper 60s for highs, which is well below average.
Our average high in early September is in the middle 80s, but we won’t be close to that through the weekend.
The game on Saturday is looking fantastic!
After a cool weekend, we do warm back up. The 80s are coming back!
