Rain possible Friday, temperatures cooler than average for a while
Cooler than average to wrap up the work week, but with almost no wind, it’ll be a tolerable cooler than average.
It’ll be downright chilly for the western half of the state Friday, but most of central and eastern Nebraska should make it into the lower 50s.
We may see some rain on and off Friday, as well. Below is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, location, and duration of the rain.
We need the rain, too. The Drought Monitor still has most of Nebraska is some sort of drought level, from Abnormally Dry to Extreme.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of rain in the forecast for Lincoln. We do see the 70s and 80s next week, though.
