RECALL ALERT: beverage products, fabric playhouses and gas furnaces

If you have the recalled products, stop using them.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Dozens of beverage products, including some branded Premier Protein, have been recalled due to possible contamination with a bacteria
called Cronobacter.

According to the CDC, this bacteria can be found in dry goods and sewer water. Infection can be dangerous in infants and people over 65 with weakened immune systems. No illnesses or complaints related to these recalled products have been reported.

The recall includes certain lots of beverages, liquid coffee, pediatric nutritional supplements, protein shakes, nutritional shakes and thickened liquids. The product does not include products manufactured for children younger than 1.

Epoch Everlasting Play is recalling over 250,000 of its Kidoozie play tents and playhouses. The fabric playhouses and play tents fail to meet an industry flammability standard for these products, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

If you have the recalled products, stop using them and contact Epoch Everlasting Play for a full refund or free replacement.

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing is expanding its recall of evaporator coil drain pins. They now include those installed with non-condensing gas furnaces.

The molded plastic drain pan, located at the bottom of the evaporator coil, can overheat, melt and deform. The company says this poses a fire hazard. Call the company to determine whether or not your unit is included in this recall and to register for the free repair by a qualified technician.

DCT is also contacting all registered consumers, where records show their gas furnace system is included in the expanded recall.
