LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Conair is recalling over 66,000 of its Cuisinart compact blender and juice extractor combos. The nut holding the blender blade assembly can loosen and detach from the base when in use. The company says this poses a laceration hazard, if a consumer comes in contact with a loose blade.

If you have the recalled blender, contact Conair for a free replacement blade. You will also receive instructions on how to install it, after throwing away the existing blade. No tools are needed. The juice extractor is unaffected and may continue to be used.

The Laundress brand of detergent and household cleaning products has recalled about 8 million of its products. The company says there is a possible presence of bacteria that could pose a health risk to consumers.

Eleven people have reported infections. You can find the recalled products at major retailers nationwide, including Target, Amazon and Nordstrom.

Kraft Heinz Foods Company is recalling about 2,400 pounds of its ready-to-eat Oscar Mayer ham & cheese loaf. According to the US Department of Agriculture, the products may have fallen victim to cross-contamination with under-processed materials. No word on any illnesses related to the recall.
