Record highs possible Monday

The incredible heat continues for at least one more day and record high temperatures are possible. The bottom falls out on Wednesday!

A cold front will blast through late Tuesday into Wednesday giving us a chance for snow and much colder air. It’s short lived, however.

Tomorrow High Dma

Monday is going to be VERY warm. Record highs are likely just about everywhere.

Potential Record Highs Multiple Cities

Lincoln, Omaha, Norfolk, Grand Island, and Hastings all have a shot of at least tying the record high.

Omaha and Norfolk may see all time record highs for the month of February!

Potential Record Highs 2 Multiple Cities

McCook, Imperial, North Platte, and Valentine will also likely be very close to new record highs for Monday.

Lincoln Tomorrow Hour By Hour

We’ll start the day in the lower 40s, but we warm up quick. We’ll be well into the 70s by the early afternoon.

Wind Gusts

The wind will eventually pick up for most of us by Wednesday afternoon. Wind gusts my exceed 30 mph at times.

Red Flag

Because of the heat, the low humidity, and the gusty wind, a Red Flag Warning is in place for Monday. Any fire that gets started, may get out of hand quickly.

If you aren’t ready for winter to be over, the above video will likely be good news! A cold front will bring us a chance for snow Tuesday.
