Report: Keisei Tominaga testing NBA draft waters
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska basketball’s Keisei Tominaga has applied for early entry to the 2023 NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility, Husker Online reported.
Tominaga just wrapped up his fourth season of college basketball, but the NCAA gave athletes an extra season of eligibility due to COVID-19.
He averaged 13.1 points per game last season, making 40% of his 3-pointers.
And in his final 15 games, he averaged 17.2 points, including 30 points in a win over Penn State.
Players like Tominaga have until the NCAA’s deadline of June 1 to withdraw from the draft and return to school.
