Reports: Huskers’ Berke Buyuktuncel enters NCAA transfer portal
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska men’s basketball is losing a key player from it’s Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament.
Berke Buyuktuncel is reportedly in the NCAA transfer portal, as first reported by On3.
Buyuktuncel started 61 of 66 appearances for the Huskers in two seasons. He became a fan favorite during the 2025-26 season for his aggressive defense and hustle.
He averaged 6.5 points and 5.6 rebounds a game for Nebraska.
He started his career at UCLA.
