Ringing in the new year cold
Temperatures typically average in the middle 60s when the new year begins, but we are no stranger to colder temperatures than that this time of year. It’s not going to be brutally cold heading into 2024, but it won’t be warm, either. We do have a couple of snow chances, as well. Late in the week, then again early next week.
We’ll slowly drop to around 20 by midnight with a little bit of a northwest breeze. The wind chill will be in the teens at times.
We’ll see partly cloudy skies with a temperature falling into the teens shortly after midnight. Bundle up!
By early Monday morning, we’ll all be in the middle to upper teens. A few 20s will be possible further east.
Our highs will struggle a little. We’ll get to or just above the freezing mark by the afternoon.
Not the warmest start to the year, but we’ve seen worse!
