SDSU transfer, Aurora native Scheierman commits to Creighton

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) — A former Nebraska high school basketball star announced he’s committed to play at Creighton.

The reigning Summit League Player of the Year averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last season for South Dakota State. He led the Jackrabbits to a Summit League title and an NCAA Tournament berth.

Scheierman was one of the most coveted transfers in the NCAA portal this offseason. He also had Arkansas, Clemson, Duke and Nebraska in his top 5 list of schools.
