Seasonal today with above average temperatures back tomorrow 3/28/2022
We are off to a chilly start for your Monday morning with temperatures in the 30s and wind chill values around 10-20°. Grab your heavy coats for the morning and your light jackets for the afternoon! Highs will reach the upper 50s with partly cloudy skies and gusty wind speeds. Southeasterly wind gusts will be above 25 mph for the entire day and into the overnight hours. Temperatures remain mild overnight in the upper 30s with partly cloudy skies, but we quickly warm into tomorrow! Highs reach the mid to upper 70s tomorrow with the potential for a few 80s. While temperatures will be warm tomorrow, the weather will actually be a bit soggy at times. A bit of drizzle is likely in the morning and afternoon before thunderstorms arrive in the evening. Some of these storms have the potential to be on the severe side with hail and strong winds as the main threats. Storms will fire up around the evening commute tomorrow, and persist in southeastern Nebraska until around 10 PM. We dry out into the end of the week and eventually return to highs in the 50s, but it will be breezy!
