Strong to severe storms are possible tonight, Friday, Saturday, and even Sunday. This is going to be a very unsettled weather pattern through the weekend.
Severe weather is possible tonight with the areas most likely to see storms in south central and SW Nebraska into the panhandle.
Above shows the timing for the storms Thursday night into Friday morning.
The highest threat for tornadoes is in NW Kansas, but the green and brown shaded areas have a 2-5% chance, as well.
Large hail is also possible in these areas.
The better chance for damaging straight line wind will be in south central Nebraska from 10pm Thursday to 2am Friday.
Then on Friday, we shift everything east into the eastern half of Nebraska for storms in the afternoon and evening.
