Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
As the storm evolve, all manners of severe weather will be possible. Below shows where the risk for a tornado lies.
Large hail will be possible with these storms. The area highlighted in yellow may see hail 1-1.5″ in diameter.
Damaging wind will also be a concern.
Heavy rain will be a possibility for everyone, but the storm gets a little stuck in parts of central Nebraska, so 2-4″ will be possible in the green shaded area below.
Precipitation potential is especially high in central and SW Nebraska tonight into the overnight.
Severe storms will exit the area overnight, but scattered showers and storms will linger through much of the day on Tuesday. More storms are possible again on Thursday.
