Severe weather potential Thursday and Friday
There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” and a level 2 “Slight Risk” for storms in SE Nebraska Thursday night.
Below is a video of our StormCast weather model showing the timing and location of the storm potential.
There is a small risk for an isolated spin up tornado Thursday evening. Mainly in far SE Nebraska into NE Kansas, SW Iowa, and into Missouri.
Large hail is also a concern with storms that do from. Hail the size of quarters is possible.
Wind gusts in excess of 60 mph are possible.
Then as we move into Friday, much of the state has a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe weather. More details on that will be available after the storm chance Thursday night.
It is going to be a toasty day on Thursday, too. Lots of us will get into the lower 80s by the afternoon!
The 10 day is all over the place. 80s for a couple of days, then 40s for a couple of days, then a lot of 50s and 60s. We do have many chances for some much needed precipitation, too!
