Severe Weather: Storms roll through viewing area Thursday morning

A line of storms continues to roll through the KLKN-TV viewing area Thursday morning. Strong winds, hail and intense lightning reported throughout the morning.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A line of storms continues to roll through the KLKN-TV viewing area Thursday morning. Strong winds, hail and intense lightning reported throughout the morning.

Several Lincoln residents losing power as well. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 5:00 a.m. Thursday in Lancaster County.

Tornado warnings also reported in rural Northeast Nebraska around the Norfolk and Stanton area. Winds reported close to the triple digits there.

Scattered storms are also expected throughout the day on Thursday and overnight into Friday.
