A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in place for much of SW Nebraska through 11:00pm CDT/10:00pm MDT, August 7, 2024.

Below is what our StormCast model is saying for timing of the storms.

Large hail is most likely in the southern panhandle, but a few areas in the brown shaded area below may see some hail 1″ in diameter at times.

Damaging winds are also most likely in SW Nebraska with some areas in the brown shaded area seeing some 60 mph wind gusts.
